Cult is proud to present a portfolio of Abigayle Tarsches iconic photography from the early 1990s, taken on the set of two movies shot in Portland at the time: 'My Own Private Idaho' and 'Even Cowgirls Get the Blues'. Directed by Gus Van Sant, each film captured a unique side of the Pacific Northwest, and Abby has certainly captured the beauty of the characters who told those stories.
Some of these images have never been seen before, and none have been offered as prints. This is the only edition of these works. 'Idaho' was photographed in 1990 and 'Cowgirls' was photographed in 1992.
There are six archival photographs printed on lustre semi-gloss. Each are 11x14 inches with an included margin as per the artist's choice. The prints are an edition of 60 + 10 APs, and are broken down the following way:
1-30 - Deluxe Portfolio
31-60 - Offered as Single Prints
