Handmade Cufflinks that are accurate models of the James Webb Space Telescope, made by an astro-physicist!
Originally from the UK, Dr. Becky Kennedy moved to Paris after finishing her PhD in Astrophysics so she could combine her creative and academic passions. "As a scientist I'm a stickler for precision, so I use my in-house laser cutter to realise my designs. This means that I can ensure all measurements are precise, down to a fraction of a millimetre. On the flip side, cutting these detailed designs into wood means that natural variations in the wood grain show through, making each piece unique."
From Dr. Kennedy: "These are part of my new collection of pieces which pay tribute to some of the coolest telescopes around (which all started with my old favourite, the Lovell Telescope). They show the eighteen super shiny mirrors of JWST. "
The pieces are 100% designed and handmade by Kennedy in her solar powered French studio.
