White cloth-covered boards, color photographic reproductions affixed to covers, titles embossed to spine. With an original C-type photograph (254 × 203 mm / 10 × 8 in.) signed by Richardson in black ink on verso laid into a folded sleeve illustrated with a color photograph of a Terry Richardson face mask. Still sealed in the publisher's gold paper wrapping. First edition, one of 100 copies issued with an original signed photograph.

Manimal contains an edit of Richardson's photographs selected by Hysteric Glamour founder Nobuhiko Kitamura, it was issued to coincide with an exhibition at the opening of a new Hysteric Glamour shop in Aoyama, Tokyo.

Most of the photographs are of an explicit nature and some of them appear to reference widely circulated images of torture by US soldiers.
